Dr. Mikhail Bukhtoyarov - Biography
Mikhail Bukhtoyarov earned a PhD in Social and Political Philosophy with a focus on emerging global society and holds a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Kent State University. For more than twenty years he has designed and taught courses in philosophy, humanities, social sciences, and information technology.
He was a Research Fellow at EduLab (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade) in 2023, a Visiting Lecturer at the Learning Lab at University of Duisburg-Essen (2014–2015), and a Muskie Fellow (USA) in 2007–2009. He has presented at numerous international conferences and workshops, including the MIT LINC International Conference (2013, 2016, 2019).
His current research focuses on the social and ethical implications of emerging technologies in education, the critique of educational ideologies, posthuman epistemology, and long-term technological futures.
